Thanks for visiting!

Roaring Acres is located in the beautiful town of Suffield, Connecticut.  Situated on over 30 acres, Roaring Acres is home to Suri and Huacaya Alpacas, Painted Desert Sheep, and a variety of ducks and chickens, including rare and heritage breeds. In addition, we have the privilege to be the home of Jake's Bees.   We truly enjoy being with the animals every day, rain (or snow!) or shine.

Look for our Roaring Acres Boutique to be open at the farm on weekdays and weekends during the Fall 2019!  Please check back for open dates in Early October.  Visit with alpacas, take some photos and pick up some holiday gifts.  Can't make it to the farm? We are busy updating our web store for your online purchases. In a hurry and can't wait for the site to be finished?  Check out our Etsy shop www.etsy.com/shop/roaringacresalpacas.  This fall and winter we are also scheduled to attend several craft fairs and winter markets.  We will update dates and locations as they become available.

Unfortunately we will not be open during Alpaca Open Farm Days as we will be showing some of our beautiful animals at The Big E in West Springfield, MA.  Please come by and visit our lovely alpacas at the Big E, or feel free to call and make an appointment to visit the farm that weekend (9/27 - 9/29).

The farm and boutique are located at 685 Hale Street, Suffield CT. We have lots of new and exciting products we this year, as well as the construction of a beautiful new barn and boutique.  Special event plans are also underway, so please check back often! Don't forget to pick up fresh, pasture raised chicken and duck eggs (subject to availability) as well as local, raw honey from Jake's bees when you are visiting!
